How You Can Help
CASH DONATIONS will help with vet bills, food, supplies, shelter adoption fees and other costs of caring for the animals. Our vet bills alone are more than $1000 per month! Without cash donations, we cannot continue to exist. All gifts are tax deductible and 100% goes to help the animals....

VOLUNTEERS are needed to
  • answer phones and do laundry
  • help introduce the dogs to prospective owners at adoption fairs
  • do publicity and paperwork
  • walk, feed and play with dogs
  • keep our website up to date
  • do fundraising
  • clean kennels
  • bathe the dogs each week and
  • babysit the dogs if the regular kennel crew is unavailable.
If you are willing to help, we will put you to work in some way!!

  • Other heartworm and flea medicines
  • Laundry, dish and dishwasher soap

  • Ear cleaner
  • Dog toothpaste
  • Inedible dog toys
  • Dog crates
  • Metal dishes
  • Dog beds
  • Rubber gloves
  • 2 pocket portfolios
  • 8 1/2 x 11 paper
  • Envelopes
  • Hanging folders
  • Stamps
We gratefully accept hand-me-downs. All gifts are tax deductible.

TRANSPORTING ANIMALS to and from the shelter is a big help. Some of our dogs and puppies may come from shelters or go to homes which are not in our community, and we need help transporting them to and from these places. We also need help transporting dogs to and from the veterinarian.

SPECIAL REQUESTS include:
  • Printing services for letterhead, business cards and brochures
  • Computer assistance to help with day-to-day computer problems
  • Handyman services to help with shelter needs
  • A dryer cage to help our dogs get dry after baths
  • Veterinarian, grooming, accounting, training and legal services


Buddy spent nearly a month at animal control while they looked for his owner. The owner was never found, and Buddy came down with kennel cough which went into pneumonia. We have already treated him for that, and we are now starting treatment for the heartworms that are wrapped around Buddy's heart. To help Buddy financially, see our PayPal link...
