Meet the Houndhaven Dogs!

Toby is a cutie!  He has to wear an E-collar right now, but he doesn’t even seem to mind it.  Toby walks okay on a leash - he pulls a lot if he sees something that distracts him - like another dog.  He has a lot of energy and needs a home that can give him a lot of exercise and play to use up that energy.  He is very playful - in fact, all he seems to want is someone to play with him.  He even poses for pictures - doesn’t he look adorable?!  If you can promise to give Toby endless love and lots of playtime, fill out an application online.

Cubby is an adorable pup!  He is at the age where all he wants to do is chew and play tug of war with the leash, so walks are not very productive.  He has a lot of energy and could probably benefit from puppy school.  Cubby is supposed to be 5 or 6 months, but he is very small, so he looks like a thin 3-month old lab.  Cubby has a golden colored coat and is very sweet and playful.  If you are looking for a lovey-dovey-cubby, fill out an adoption application for this little guy.

Bosco is a big, handsome dark chocolate lab.  He has light, golden brown eyes.  He was picked up, as a stray, by animal control.  I’m pretty sure he had an owner at some point because he is well-behaved.  He walks great on a leash and seems to be house broken.  He has kennel cough, so we have to get him healthy before he can be adopted; but if you are interested, fill out an application online.

Boomer’s bark makes him seem fierce from behind his kennel gate, but this skinny boy is quite the contrary.  Boomer is affectionate and energetic and walks well on a leash.  He is thin, but we are helping him put weight back on so he can be healthy again.  I went in his kennel to clean his ears and all he could think about was how to get me to rub his belly - he laid on the floor and rolled over to expose his skinny belly and chest.  I gave him a good belly rub and he happily let me clean his ears.
