Meet the Houndhaven Dogs!

Duke is a handsome, medium sized dog.  He is a thin, healthy weight with a little bit of a fluffy tail.  This guy must be part Chow because his tongue looks like he chewed an ink pen.  BUT, he doesn’t seem to have a Chow persona - in fact, he’s a little bit of a scaredy sometimes.  Duke needs very expensive heart surgery before he can be adopted.  Without the surgery, he will not be able to run and play like a normal dog should. If you would like to adopt this guy, you can complete an online application, but keep in mind, he won’t be ready to go home for a while (until after his surgery).
