Meet the Houndhaven Dogs!

Huntley is in his foster home and has been lonely since his sister got adopted. Here he is trying to get his foster brother to play with him.  Unfortunately, Charlie wants nothing to do with that little pupperoni!!

Hunter is an all-around fantastic dog.  He is fully house-broken and walks well on a leash.  He gets along easily with many other dogs.  He knows how to sit, lay down, and shake.  And he even goes right into his kennel without a fight.  He loves to play and will chew soft toys to pieces!  He eats dry dog food without an argument and also will sit for a treat without even being told.  He is a handsome, large chocolate brown and loves to sleep in a bed if you are willing to let him!

Here is Lady with a weed.  Yes, it was growing through the fence, so she decided since it was in her kennel, it was hers.  We played tug-o-war with it for a few minutes.  She loves tug-o-war!!  If you need some help pulling weeds in your yard, Lady might be the girl for you!

I am fostering this little guy and he is currently snoring in front of the TV.  He arrived this evening and quickly made himself at home.  We have cats and he is not interested in chasing them at all.  He really doesn’t understand they are a different species - you should have seen the look on my cat’s face when Simba jumped up next to him to share a spot on a soft blanket. It was priceless.  I’ve been doing a little research and I think Simba’s terrier mix is the Norfolk Terrier - they have the wiry hair and the ears that flop over.  Simba’s ears are so cute!!  Here are some picture of him…

Lexi is an energetic girl and last week, I discovered, she can catch treats in mid air!  yes, gorgeous and talented - it’s winning combination!  She is playful and walks well on a leash.  She gets really excited when she knows she is going for a walk and she can hardly sit still!
