Saxon is an eight year old Belgian Malinois who is now a retired police dog. He and his mom, a first responder, have an amazing bond, and when Saxon was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, mom used all her savings to get his leg amputated. He now needs chemotherapy and there are no funds left, so Houndhaven Helps stepped in to help Saxon get the chemo he needs to live. Saxon is a smart cookie and will adapt well to life as a tripod, so we wanted to help this dear guy have the best chance at a good and long retirement.
