Cody came from a terrible environment but found a wonderful family in 2014. He spent the first week on the bed, his safe space, but slowly came out of his shell as he realized he was loved. He still has some trust issues with people but loves other dogs. He is always up for a walk, a snack (especially) or simply lying in the sun. He is a snuggler and he is a lover of life and family. Unfortunately, Cody was diagnosed with melanoma (skin cancer in the mouth) recently, and his owners couldn’t afford the very expensive treatment. They were devastated because he is a treasured family member and were very grateful when Houndhaven Helps stepped in so that Cody could get treated.
