Sadie

Sadie decided that her dad’s sock looked yummy.  So she ate it.  She later regretted her decision when she had to be rushed to the Veterinary Emergency Clinic to have the sock surgically removed because it had caused a blockage.  Her dad is a young guy without a ton of resources, but he was willing to max out his credit card and Care credit to get Sadie her surgery.  When Houndhaven Helps found out about it, we donated toward her surgery so that her dad wouldn’t be paying forever for Sadie’s puppylike but foolish decision.  Sadie has recovered well, and no socks are now within her reach!
