Teddy Bear has an immune disorder called pemphigus foliaceus and needs large amounts of drugs to even partially control his disease.  Dr. Schwassman suspects there may be cancer internally that is triggering the disease.  We are helping Teddy get chest radiographs and an abdominal ultrasound to determine what is going on.  If there is a tumor that can be removed, then the skin disease should improve.  If there is nothing going on internally then they will know to keep going with heavy duty drug therapy.
