One of the last dogs to receive help from us in 2023 (which will be continuing in 2024, God willing) was Colossus. This handsome rescued meathead (his mom’s word, not mine) was diagnosed with lymphoma shortly before Christmas. His family spent $1,500 on testing just to get a diagnosis, so when he arrived at Dr. Sones’ office, the costs of chemotherapy were a bit overwhelming. He suggested the Houndhaven Helps project to them, and they were very grateful to receive our help. Colossus has already started chemo, and we are looking forward to hearing good reports about him in 2024!
