One of the last dogs to receive Houndhaven Helps funds in 2023, which will continue in 2024, is Gus. Gus has allergy issues, and desperately needed allergy testing and immunotherapy (allergy shots). His mom got the process started, but the costs of continuing were a bit more than her budget would allow. Dr. Schwassman didn’t want to see Gus have a setback, so she suggested Houndhaven Helps. Gus’ mom gratefully accepted, and, thanks to our wonderful donors, Gus will have a much more comfortable future!
