Maizie somehow managed to tear her cruciate ligament, and her family needed some help to have our brilliant orthopedic surgeon repair it. Thanks to our donors, Maizie was able to have her TPLO surgery, and she should be able to be running and jumping as normal in a couple of months after surgery. Go, Maizie!  

Saxon is an eight year old Belgian Malinois who is now a retired police dog.  He and his mom, a first responder, have an amazing bond, and when Saxon was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, mom used all her savings to get his leg amputated.  He now needs chemotherapy and there are no funds left, so Houndhaven Helps stepped in to help Saxon get the chemo he needs to live.  Saxon is a smart cookie and...

Moosy has lymphoma AND a fast growing mammary mass that needed to be removed before it got any larger.  The owner didn't have the funds for the expensive surgery, but could swing it with some help from Houndhaven.  Moosy had surgery 6/17 and Dr. Ruddle was able to remove the 5 lb mass and also a smaller mass that was obstructing Moosy's breathing.  Her dad says she is feeling much better now! ...

Hunter has horrible allergies.  He is on year round dermatology care just to try to keep him comfortable.  The expenses of this are not insubstantial, and HH Helps is honored to help his dad give Hunter the care he deserves and needs so badly.

Poor Mr. Bojangles had a large mass in his ear.  We helped him get it surgically removed, but the entire mass could not be excised, so it is growing back.  We are helping his mom get him the ongoing treatment he needs so that he can continue to enjoy life despite his ear issue.  If another surgery becomes necessary, we stand ready to help, but for now it can be managed without surgery.

London has terrible allergies that his owner couldn't afford to treat, so HH Helps stepped in to help London.  He is doing better but needs ongoing care by Dr. Schwassman.  As you can see in the photo, London is a good boy and let's Leo the cat eat and play with him!  His dad says Leo helps keep London's mind off of his allergies.  🙂

Jaxon is a happy golden retriever (aren't they all) who just turned 7 years old.  Unfortunately, this handsome boy was diagnosed with cancer.  The good news is that he has an excellent oncologist, Dr. Evan Sones of Animal Cancer Care Clinic. Diesel came all the way from Palm Bay to see Dr. Schwassman, and we are so glad he did because he has some nasty looking skin and ears. Diesel is now getting the relief he needs thanks to our donors and Veterinary Dermatology Center. Diesel will be an ongoing case, but he is already more comfortable than he was!
